Meet with Sioux Falls area marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, journalism and design professionals at AdStuds Student Day 2011.
You’re currently on the outside looking in at the profession. But you don’t have to be! This is your chance to get a glimpse inside. It’s time to embrace the fact that you are the next generation. AdStuds gives you the keys to the castle, because you are the heir to the throne.
The day will include roundtable sessions, one-on-one time with a professional, an interactive lunch presentation, breakout sessions and agency/printer tours.
Our guest will be Joe Sparano and Adam Torpin, from Oxide Design Co. in Omaha.
Adam Torpin
Since discovering the world of design, Adam has spent his time blurring the line between passion and obsession.
With clarity being the goal of every project he is a part of, Adam’s ability to create unique yet appropriate visuals is a rarity in the field. Working with like-minded individuals at Oxide Design Co., he is able to produce work effectively and efficiently. Adam strives to bring this level of value to every client that puts their trust in Oxide and his work.
Joe Sparano
Joe believes in the power (and responsibility) of design to make sense of the world, to help people, to realize change, and to solve problems. New York State’s voter registration form (which was designed by Joe and the rest of the Oxide team) has been printed 2.5 million times. He hopes sincerely that his work has simplified the lives of as many people.
He also invented The Sparano Scale™, a really simple system for evaluating stuff.
