Chairity Call for Entries

Published

You may need to sit down for this.

Because we’re inviting you to participate in Chairity 2012, a unique benefit auction that supports the State Theatre and the South Dakota Advertising Federation.

And we just can’t do it without YOU!

To support Chairity 2012, local artisans generously create and donate one-of-a-kind chairs that are functional works of art. Money raised from auctioning the chairs will go toward buying auditorium seats at the State Theatre, and a portion will be used for SDAF programming. Are you willing to give your creative talent for a good cause?

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Registration forms due February 14th, 2012. Download registration form here.
  • Build a chair any way you like, with any material you like. (Just save us the heavy lifting by keeping it under 200 pounds.)
  • Complete and deliver your chair to the Icon Lounge (400 N. Main Ave.) by March 15.
  • Check out your chair on display in Downtown Sioux Falls. Entries will be displayed until the auction at Icon Lounge on April 12.

Thanks for participating! We can’t wait to take your seat.

But then you get the questions that even in a million years of a jazillion buckets of poop pick-up, you never could expect. And sometimes someone drops a load of, “Huh?!!?!?” bigger than what a Great Dane can pile up. That’s a house pooper. Read More »
