The South Dakota Advertising Federation hosts the 43rd Annual ADDY Awards SDAF recognized creative excellence in advertising at its 43rd Annual ADDY Awards. It was the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. SDAF was proud to honor Paul Van Veldhuizen with the Volunteer of theYear Award, Kevin VanWesten the Creative Legacy Award, and the familyof Chad Nelson with the Silver Medal award. All Gold winners of the local competition competed with other winners in District 8 of the American Adverising Federation. All Gold District 8 Gold winners advance to the national AAF competition.
