President’s Letter

The wheels are turning on the new SDAF year and it started out with a big splash at the kick-off BBQ at Tuthill park. Thanks to those who “volunteered” to be water balloon targets. Our program speaker line-up is taking shape and it is more diverse than ever so there will be something for everyone. We have a new public service project that we will be rolling out so watch for more details to come on that.

Excerpts from our past programs are on our YouTube channel to help you get caught up on what you might have missed. Think of it as your SDAF DVR.

A membership in SDAF entitles you to more than coming to the monthly programs. It’s about being involved. That might mean joining a committee like ADDYS® or Public Service or even recruiting a new member to SDAF. Most importantly is the sense of belonging to something bigger than yourself or your company and getting to meet new people in our industry. I challenge you to stretch your mind, expand your “real life” social network and don’t be afraid to take chances and lets have a great year together.
